We’re told that BDSM is a way for a better, more sensual sex. However, it might be awkward to start practising, or just uncomfortable to go into depths of it when you’re a beginner. Yet some light toys can really improve the things in bed and give you some new sensations to enjoy! We’ve selected five of the best light BDSM toys that we recommend trying, check them out!
Blindfolds
The easiest way to start experimenting with BDSM is with blindfolds. They give some more control to one partner, while increasing sensation for another. You can either choose an eye mask or a blindfold ribbon depending on your preferences.
Restraints
Restraints are some of the strongest pillars of BDSM and they’re a bit more complex than blindfolds, but also suitable for beginners. It’s better to start with simple ribbons such as you would need for blindfolds, and below you will find out about two other types of restraints.
Handcuffs
Handcuffs are less gentle on the wrists than ribbons, and you can also get the size wrong. In other words, they’re a bit trickier, and we recommend them after you’ve already experimented with other restraints. Talk with your partner, agree on how loose or tight the handcuffs should be.
Connected cuffs
To further experiment with dominance and submission, you can try connected cuffs. They’re usually put on the wrists and ankles and further connected with each other (see this option). You can also find those that keep the hands tied behind the back, or legs and arms restraints.
Chocker with a chain
Chockers can already be kinky for some people, and the chain will add even more to it. Make sure to adjust the tightness so as not to hurt yourself or your partner.
That’s our beginner’s selection, but you can find many more interesting toys in the BDSM sets!
